Chee

Hello, my name is João Resende, I'm a freelance musician, sound designer, and engineer currently residing in Brighton UK.
I've felt a connection to music from an early age, and since then participated in several music projects from, a black metal solo project called Archaon (Click Here) where I take my first steps in independent recording, and a symphonic black metal project called Tzolkin, where I worked with musicians from known Portuguese metal projects, such as "Formaldehyde" and "Shadowsphere".

After this I started exploring other genres, I founded the psychedelic rock band Viriathus (Click Here), the project consists of a mix of poetry and music, surrounded by various themes like the fifth empire, as prophesied by António Vieira, the Portuguese Discoveries, and several other spiritual reflections, musically wise it is rich in improvisation elements there were no style barriers, going from blues, passing by funk, bossa nova, hard rock, and metal. Musical arrangement and composition, by John R.

I also was invited to partake in an alternative rock project from MAR, called Ninfo (Click Here), in which I was introduced to the band, rehearsed, and recorded the song "Oblongata".

Soon after I founded the band Missile (Click Here), It's a Psychedelic Hard Rock project, very much focused on the instrumental aspects, and communication between instruments. With this project I had the great opportunity to record in a professional environment at Loudness Films (Click Here) with a more mature view and more solid abilities in production, mixing and mastering, Missil gave me a great opportunity to experiment with the more technical aspects of music. Musical arraignment, composition, recording, mixing, mastering, and production, by John R

Studied two years of Musical production at EPI, and I'm also Certified by Steinberg, at Audiolabs.
Recorded dubbing as a sound tech in Matinha Studios, for the Portuguese branch of Disney Channel
